Welcome one and all to the “The Many Sights of Middle Earth” game.

The premise is this: Mirkwood is a bit more then a month off, and so as a form of entertainment, I thought I would start up a little game. Nothing big. Nothing too fancy.
I saw this game on the main forums almost a year ago, thought it looked kinda cool, but it didn’t really catch on. But now I’m trying again!

The game is thus:

I’ll post a screenshot of one of my characters infront/ontop/behind/under/near/somewhere in the vicinity of a unique location in the game. The first one to post a screenshot of one of their characters near that location wins that round. I’m aiming for the locations to be well known enough that it isn’t impossible, but yet just obscure enough that people don’t instantly guess them. All screenshots will be of places that you can get to solo (but not necesarly at any level)

Again, not that special. Not that important. Nothing worth hunting night and day to find. Just a fun little something to do. And maybe we will get to see a bit more of middle earth then those dozen or so instances in moria.

So this is a little test. Obviously it is Quite easy, I'm just using this as an example to see if there are any glitches or whatnot.

So if you want to try your hand at it, post a screenshot of your characer at this location and I know you are set. As a test, there won't be any reward for this one, but go for it anyway. Anyone who wants to play is welcome! no one is forced to play either. You can start up anytime.

If you need/want help or info on posting screenshots, or taking screenshots feel free to PM me here, contact/mail me in-game. I check often and would be happy to assit anyway I can.

I am in a good mood. Good thing too because all my screenshots are on the comp without internet... it would appear some transferring is in order. Or at least selecting a few to post. Whatever.

I think Eles will be the one to post the screenshots. until he relinquishes that privilege to someone else.

Well yes. I was planning on being the one to post the screenshots and all.

So the way I saw the game work on the mainforums, and the way I invisioned this game, Aderius would be the winner, even though Silwein was correct. So if this had been a real round ader would have won.

So like if posting a screenshot and all is too much of a bother or whatnot let me know. I can't think of any good reason why it needs to be a screenshot apposed to a ;loc or a well versed description of the area other than thats the way it was on the mainforums, and it's kinda cool to see everyone in screenshots, eh. I don't know.

So yeah. Let me know. I'm always up for suggestions.

Screen shot is fine, it is irrefutable proof that you were at the same location, and is easy to compare to the original. Not to mention, posting screenshots is as easy as 123 smile

and besides, i can't show off Ader's godlike physique without screenshots...

I know Eles is the one that's supposed to be posting these, but since it appears Aderius is the reigning champ right now, this was a particular challenge for him. It follows the rules, is not the most obsucre place, but it does present a strange angle. smile
