don't normally get into this kind of stuff. The deep world of Game Mechanics doesn't interest me too much. (I'm sure Frodo didn't care if his boots gave +5 to will or +5 to vitality...so why should I?) But for some reason this is something thats interested me, and that is: The exact effects Stats give you. So, after a few hours of swapping this gear and that...recording this and that, I have assembled, to the best of my ability, the answer

1 Fate = See Graph Here
= "X" ICMR (Decreases as a function of Fate)
= 2 Tactical Crit Rating

1 Will = 3 Maximum Power
=12 Out-of-Combat Power Regen
=2 Fear Resist Rating

1 Vitality =3 Maximum Morale
=7.8 Out-of-Combat Morale Regen
=1 Fire Mitigation Rating
=1 Frost Mitigation Rating
=1 Shadow Mitigation Rating
=1 Lightning Mitigation Rating
=1 Acid Mitigation Rating
=2 Poison Resist Rating
=2 Disease Resit Rating
=2 Wound Resist Rating

1 Agility = 2 Evade Rating
= 1 Parry Rating
= 2 Melee Crit Rating
= 2 Ranged Crit Rating
= Un-quantified Increase to Ranged Damage (I did a quick anylasis and it appeared to be a 0.2% increase per point of Agility)

1 Might = 2 Block Rating
= 1 Parry Rating
= 1 Common Mitigation
= Un-quantified Increase to Melee Damage (Again, I did a quick test to find it around 0.2%)

1 Armour = 1 Common Mitigation
= 0.16 Fire Mitigation
= 0.16 Frost Mitigation
= 0.16 Shadow Mitigation
= 0.16 Lightning Mitigation
= 0.16 Acid Mitigation

Thanks for the investigation, although i'd like to add one thing to hopefully increase the precision. At the top of your list you should state:

"these statistical equivalences are for a character at lvl 60".

there you go smile

If the whole universe has no meaning, we should never have found out that it has no meaning: just as, if there were no light in the universe and therefore no creatures with eyes, we should never know it was dark. Dark would be without meaning.

I didn't consider that. As far as I know.....I don't think level has an effect on these values. It's something to look into. But yes, these statistics were done with a Lvl 60 guardian.

EDIT: I just checked a couple of stats on my Level 29 Hunter. The handful of Stats I checked had the same values as the ones above.

EDIT: *sigh*Thanks to some elaberate testing with Geo's MIN, we have discovered that the numbers regarding ICPR and and assumedly ICMR and are innacurate.

25 critical rating at lvl 20 will give you roughly %0.3, whereas (like you said) 100 critical rating at lvl 60 will give about %0.4
Mitigations work similarly i believe.

i think level makes a difference for some stats.

I see. The rating --> %chance conversion does seem to change by Level. Thank you for pointing that out. I'll try to figure that one out next.

Please also make note of the fact that fate affects the liklihood of you starting a random fellowship manuever

P.S. Here is values to % conversion for crit chances

240 crit rating (melee, ranged, and tactical)=+1% to crit chance

Also note that this may be modified as you get closer to the cap (no not for the better... it takes even more).

Please note the exchange rates (number value to % bonus) is different for determining armor mitigations.

I realize this post is more traits than stats, but I'm proud of the following accomplishments. I've been working on my traits while trying to find a good 16th run for the last week and as of today my traits stand as: 10 (+) = Wisdom, Charity, Compassion, Determination, Fidelity, Honesty, Loyalty, Innocence, Tollerance, & Valour. 9 = Confidence & Patience. 8 = Zeal, Empathy & Honour. < 8 = Fortitude, Justice & Mercy.
